Our mixes originate from authentic Cajun Creole recipes handed down through many generations of the Bayou Magic family. Our recipes come from ancestors who migrated from Nova Scotia in 1785. After a short time at the Community House in New Orleans they settled in the Atchafalaya Swamp area along the banks of beautiful Bayou LaFourche. They brought with them the recipes and art of cooking now known as Cajun Creole Cuisine.
